About Dexter - What role did Harrison Morgan?

As promised, I'd like to discuss Dexter.
I would be treated in a way a bit special, I have read a million reviews over the years, but nothing that spoke in detail of the characters, which are numerous in this series: I would like to deal with some characters from the series, the eventual evolution or lack of evolution.




I would start now to talk about Dexter. But I thought that his son might begin to be better, talking about those people who for better or for worse, I was impressed that despite some shortcomings, remains the series of the last ten to fifteen years.

Irene Adler: differenze fra romanzi e Sherlock

Rinviato lo scontro tra Sherlock e Moriarty e introdotto il personaggio dei romanzi che più di ogni altro, nonostante la poca presenza attiva nei raconti, ha stimolato la fantasia per i lettori di Sherlock Holmes.
Proprio attraverso il cellulare, che Sherlock e la celebre Irene Adler vengono per la prima volta a contatto.


La Donna di Sherlock Holmes

Irene Adler è la donna per antonomasia, non solo per lo stesso Sherlock, ma anche per gli stessi lettori. Per molti versi la Adler appare nei racconti come più importante, dello stesso Moriarty. Predomina la scena, e per i cultori del genere sanno quanto questo personaggio sia delicato da rappresentare ed è un punto cruciale al fine di rendere la serie "speciale" in tutte le sue sfacettature.
A renderla così speciale è l’essere riuscita a battere Sherlock: non solo in astuzia e in gioco d’anticipo ma anche nel travestimento: il mondo del sentimento nel detective viene allo scoperto.
Sherlock Holmes è un personaggio letterario senza fine ed è naturale di cercare di conoscerlo più a fondo, e grazie alla Adler l'autore ci da la possibilità di tentare: ma Holmes è “sposato con il suo lavoro”.

L’attesa per la Adler di Moffat era altissima e prima ancora che fosse noto ci si domandava quante speranze avremmo avuto di poter osservare da vicino un nuovo Sherlock con meno logica e più emozioni.










La Donna di Moffat

La Adler di Moffat ama il potere e i giochi di potere.
I suoi clienti sono importanti ed illustri, il suo cellulare è un archivio di materiale riservato.
Il Governo Britannico, la C.I.A le danno la caccia, ma la vera partita è con Sherlock Holmes che per la prima volta si trova di fronte a una persona che non si stupisce davanti alla sua astuzia.

L’irritante fascino, la perspicacia di Adlere trasformano Sherlock in un uomo con delle nuove paure, quello di essere raggiunto: arrivando persino a privarsi di uno dei suoi aspetti che più lo caraterizzano: evidenziare l’inferiorità intellettuale di coloro che lo circondano.

Irene Adler è una serie di cliché di femme fatale. Le unghie rosse, il rosso per le labbra, l’entrata nella scena senza veli, apparendo come una donna pericolosa di cui non ci si dovrebbe fidare, soprattutto nel momento in cui ti fa sentire speciale, quindi vulnerabile. Tutto abbastanza prevedibile. Credevo, sinceramente, di vedere un tocco più profondo ed importante su questo personaggio, qualcosa che mi spingesse a ricordare questa attrice come non la solita Adler dei film di Sherlock Holmes, ma una trasposizione moderna del personaggio che invece manca, trasformata semplicemente in una donna che sfrutta la seduzione e la perspicacia per sottomettere i "suoi" uomini.
L’attrazione tra due individui carismatici ed egomaniaci quali Sherlock e Adler ha portato Irene a "I’m Sherlocked".

La Adler di Moffat è quindi la Donna che batte Holmes, solo emotivamente: l’aver portato Sherlock ad ammettere di poter provare dei sentimenti. Questo può essere una grande conquista per la trasposizione moderna, ma tra le conquiste di certo rimane la più banale.

About Dexter - Harry's death, Did Vogel kill Harry??

There was a moment, after the director has shown those flashbacks of Matthews, who revealed the truth about Dexter's father that I thought, "But if it was Vogel to kill Harry?"

Yes, but we assume. There are some things that led me to talk about it; think for a moment when asked Debra videos to Vogel. The psychiatrist hides some videos, which means that Vogel has something to hide their children Morgan, and then.. In one of the latest videos Harry says: "Don't think I can live with this burden."
So believe that Harry committed suicide could be a risky proposition.

When Harry says that he did not want to live with that weight, I believed that he was going to confess to the police about what he and Vogel were doing, remember that Harry is an arrogant man, when he adopted Dexter was aware that he could become a sociopath and a disturbed, but went straight to his way.

Another consideration... when the police decide to commit suicide usually decides to shoot himself, hardly a cop with a beautiful career, decide to use poisons to get it over with. It seems to me a technique that would use much more a woman, as Vogel.




Only I have thought about this theory?
All the pieces back in their place, and let's be clear, a psychiatrist who wants to convince a serial killer to "convert" to another on the same principles, is a woman capable of murder.

About Dexter - Fu Vogel ad uccidere Harry?

C'è stato un attimo, dopo che il regista ha mostrato quei flashback di Matthews, che rivelavano la verità sul padre di Dexter a cui ho pensato: "Ma se fosse stata Vogel ad uccidere Harry?"

Si, ma ipotizziamo. Ci sono alcune cose che mi hanno spinto a parlarne; pensiamo per un attimo a quando Debra chiede dei video a Vogel. La psichiatra nasconde alcuni video, il che significa che Vogel ha qualcosa da nascondere ai figli Morgan, e poi.. in uno degli ultimi video Harry afferma: "Non credo di poter vivere con questo peso".
Quindi credere che Harry si sia suicidato potrebbe essere un' affermazione azzardata.







Quando Harry afferma che non voleva vivere con quel peso, ho creduto che volesse andare a confessare tutto alla polizia di ciò che lui e la Vogel stavano facendo. Ricordiamo che Harry è un uomo arrogante. Quando adottò Dexter era cosciente che potesse diventare un sociopatico e un disturbato, ma ha continuato dritto per la sua strada. A ragione del vero, bisogna anche ricordare che andare dalla polizia a confessare ciò che Harry e la Vogel stavano pianificando avrebbe voluto mettere fine alla vita da uomo libero di Dexter ragazzo, ed Harry dimostra affetto nei suoi confronti sin dal momento in cui porta via Dexter da quel container.


Ulteriore considerazione a cui ho pensato è poi stata...quando le forze dell'ordine decidono di suicidarsi, normalmente decidono di spararsi, difficilmente un poliziotto con una carriera del suo calibro alle spalle, decide di utilizzare veleni per farla finita. Mi sembra una tecnica che utilizzerebbe molto di più una donna, come Vogel.

Solo io ho pensato a questa teoria?
Se ci facciamo caso tutti i pezzi tornano al loro posto, e diciamolo chiaramente, una psichiatra che vuole convincere un serial killer a "convertirne" un altro agli stessi principi, è una donna capace di uccidere.
Cosa ne pensate? Magari è tutto una coincidenza, ma vale farci due pensieri, dopotutto per Dexter questo... e molto altro.

Dexter - the best season?

It is difficult to judge a series that has been with us for years, sharing many experiences, very moving us deeply.

And Dexter is part of this group of series that deserves a special bracket, making sure to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of this show that has revolutionized the idea and the concept of the TV series. What differentiates Dexter Morgan from a Patrick Bateman (American Psycho) is in a code of ethics, he learned from his father Harry, when he realized the homicidal tendencies of his son. Dexter - la stagione migliore?

È sempre difficile giudicare una serie con il quale nel bene o nel male siamo cresciuti, condividendo numerose esperienze, emozionandoci come raramente accade.

E Dexter fa parte di questa schiera di serie, ormai mature, che merita una parentesi speciale, facendo in modo di analizzare i pregi e i difetti di questo telefilm che ha rivoluzionato l'idea e il concetto di serie tv. Quello che differenzia Dexter Morgan da un Patrick Bateman sta in un codice etico, inculcatogli dal padre Harry, quando si rese conto delle tendenze omicide del figlio. L’intelligente uso del voice-over per illustrare i pensieri del personaggio è un ottimo mezzo per delineare il confine che divide lo spettatore dal personaggio, una linea a cui spesso ci si avvicinerà ma che non si oltrepasserà mai. 

Ma come prima cosa, delle 8 stagioni; quale vi ha più colpito, appassionato di più?


Riviviamole con due parole.. 


Stagione 1: Si comincia a conoscere Dexter, i Serial Killer, il padre di Dexter, il suo passato e il suo fratello Brian.

Prende piede una delle serie più intriganti di sempre, e la prima stagione è la sintesi perfetta di ciò che bisogna aspettarsi.









Stagione 2: La seconda stagione ha come protagonisti l'indagine del Macellaio di Bay Harbor e Doakes che sospetta di Dexter.
Doakes si scopre in una tutta la sua abilità come detective che sarà anche la causa della sua fine. Emozionante fino all'ultimo istante, forse un pò forzato il modo in cui il regista decide di liberarsi del "problema Doakes".








Stagione 3: Per la prima vota nella sua vita Dexter condivide i suoi pensieri e le sue azioni omicida con qualcuno: Miguel Prado. 
Passando da amico a nemico in poco meno di una stagione e sposando Rita.

Stagione 4: Conosciamo Dexter il family guy e soprattutto Trinity.
La morte di Rita è qualcosa che lascia il segno. Forse la stagione con più drammaticità dell'intera serie.











Stagione 5: Il senso di colpa di Dexter per la morte di Rita, il bambino di Dexter, la relazione con Lumen, la ricerca del gruppo di stupratori seriali e il loro leader Jordan Chase.

Stagione 6: Il serial killer Doomsday e il fratello Sam, forse l'unica nota positiva di questa stagione abbastanza anonima.














Stagione 7: Debra conosce il "Passeggero Oscuro" di Dexter, Hannah ("True Love" di Dexter), Isaak e la morte di LaGuerta.
Il pathos di questa stagione raggiunge livelli mai visti, toccati con mano solo con la morte di Rita.
